Kashish Duggal Overcomes Dance Apprehensions for Role in ‘Suhaagan’

Actress Kashish Duggal has embraced a significant challenge in her acting career with the role of Prabha, a classical dance teacher, in the popular television series ‘Suhaagan’. While excited about the opportunity, Kashish initially felt apprehensive due to her lack of formal training in classical dance.

Known for her expressive performances and recent stint in ‘Aangan Aapno Kaa’, Kashish shared insights into her character and personal journey with the role. “Playing Prabha in ‘Suhaagan’ has been a thrilling experience. She is not just a dance teacher but a pivotal figure in the lives of the protagonists, bringing depth and emotion to the storyline,” Kashish revealed.

Reflecting on her initial reservations about the role, Kashish explained, “When I was offered the role of Prabha, I had mixed emotions. Dance has always been a passion, and I’m often praised for my expressiveness. However, I lacked formal training in classical dance, which made me apprehensive.”

Despite her concerns, Kashish saw the role as an opportunity for personal and artistic growth. “While I naturally connect with dance in a freestyle manner, I’ve always wanted to delve deeper into classical forms. This role challenged me to explore and learn, pushing me outside my comfort zone,” she added.

‘Suhaagan’ recently underwent a 20-year leap, introducing new characters and plot twists to captivate its audience on Colors TV. With the addition of actors like Pragati Choursiya, Akshay Kharodia, and Dhwani Gori, the series continues to explore themes of familial bonds and personal ambitions amidst evolving relationships.
