The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has clarified that it has not yet reached any conclusion in the suicide case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput and the investigation into the case is on. CBI spokesperson RK Gaur told Univarta on Thursday that news was being published and circulated in some parts of the media that the CBI had reached its final conclusion in the Sushant case investigation and its investigation would soon be called off.
Gaur said that these media reports are baseless and a rumor and the investigation is currently going on. Significantly, on the recommendation of the Bihar government, the Central Government Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) had ordered a CBI inquiry, which was challenged by Sushant's girlfriend and model Rhea Chakraborty in the Supreme Court. Ultimately, the apex court had put the final stamp on the CBI probe.
