Akhilesh-Mulayam's close and SP veteran leader dies of Corona

Samajwadi Party (SP) stalwart leader and member of the Legislative Council SRS Yadav died early Tuesday morning due to Corona infection. He was 87. Yadav, revered in the corridors of politics by the name of Babuji, was admitted to the Kovid ward of Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Science (SGPGI) after confirmation of corona infection where he breathed his last at around two o'clock.
A close confidant and advisor of Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, Yadav worked in a cooperative bank before joining politics where he met Mulayam Singh Yadav. In 1989, after Mulayam became the Chief Minister for the first time, he appointed him as its Special Officer.
The SP headquarters were commanded by Yadav. SP President Akhilesh Yadav mourning the death of the elderly leader tweeted - We are shocked at the death of senior SP leader, MLC and in-charge of party office, SRS Yadavji from Corona. The state has lost a dedicated socialist today.
