In the context of the corona epidemic crisis, 2281 scouts and guides from various states have participated in the national level painting and slogan writing competition organized by the joint effort of Bharat Scout and Guide and Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur.
State Chief Commissioner of Rajasthan State Bharat Scout and Guide and International Commissioner (Scout) J.C. Mahanti informed that 60 paintings and 60 slogans were received in the final phase of the competition, out of which 8 outstanding divisions will be awarded for first and second place in each department.
On Thursday, these 60 paintings and slogans received from various states and regions were displayed for selection of best first and second in the auditorium of the state headquarters on Jawaharlal Nehru Marg under the Scout Guide. The enlightened people associated with the art and literature of the state announced the national winner of painting and slogan by selecting for first and second place from every category.
In the competition, scout guides from all over the country realized the fight against Corona and the responsibility of every person in this fight on the canvas. These entries showed that the whole of India, in whatever form humanity's enemies come from, is ready to fight and put an end to it and victory is certain.Mahanati informed that a prize of 11,000 cash will be given for selected painting and slogan for the first place and 6100 cash for the second place. The award will be given to the individual selected for both Scout and Guide categories.
It is noteworthy that more than 10 lakh scouts and guides in the state have distributed about 55 lakh masks in the state in the last 5 months, distribution of food and logistic materials, sanitization work, public awareness by building rangoli, yoga and other programs in quarantine centers. Provided services in organizing, local administration and police department, which was also appreciated by administration and public representatives.
